About Me

I am currently a senior at Northeastern University in Boston, MA pursuing a dual major in computer science and interactive media.

My love for story has always motivated my work and inspired my creativity. I chose my majors in order to study how story can be applied across a variety of media in traditional and non-traditional ways. Through my studies, work and personal explorations I have mostly worked with game design, animation and video production. However, I have also played with website design, widget creation, photography, music composition and Lego Mindstorm programming to name a few.

Working at Metaversal Studios as a programmer gave me my first chance to see how the game production process works. I had the opportunity to work on several projects, coding for iPhone and Flash development. It was through these projects that I learned to work efficiently with a team, to quickly understand others' code so I could add to it and to work with a number of platforms with which I was unfamiliar.

Currently I am interning at the Disney Online Tech Lab. As part of a small team of programmers, I help to identify, design and create a functional prototype for a solution to a particular problem. In this work I am given the opportunity to rapidly learn a large number of programming languages and tools in a short amount of time to accomplish the task at hand. But perhaps the most important thing I am learning is that my favorite part of the production process is finding an idea and fleshing it. Content is what I am most interested in, and is where I hope to work one day.
