About Me
I am currently a junior at Northeastern University in Boston, MA pursuing a dual major in computer science and multimedia.
I always loved studying math and foreign language throughout my years in school, yet as college loomed in the distance I realized that I did not want to pursue a career either discipline would lead to. However, when I put them together I realized that in a sense computer science is a combination of the two. I decided to give it a try, even though I had no prior experience in the field, and found that I liked to program and quickly became one of the top students in my classes.
I added a second major in digital art, concentrating on animation, with hopes to go into visual effects. Always fascinated with the entertainment industry, I have enjoyed watching countless movies and television series of various genres. I especially love the thrill of a well done action or science fiction movie, and since these genres have become so heavily dependent on visual effects I decided that working in this field would be a fantastic way to help recreate the same thrill that I love for others. And by combining computer science and animation I would be prepared to understand and work in both sides of the process, or even become a communication source between the two.
Recently I switched from digital art to multimedia to add other areas of art that I enjoy to my animation skills. Because of this I can expand my co-op and internship search to include game design, editing, production or sound design in addition to or in combination with animation.
