"The Bouncing Roofed Eye"

In my first major project in Maya, I was assigned to create a character that would display two emotions while on stage. After playing around, I somehow created what I now call the bouncing roofed eye. Though describing it to people can be difficult, it is quite a fun and definitely a unique character. I modeled, textured, rigged, animated, and lit the character, animated the ball, and rendered everything in Maya. I edited in Photoshop and After Effects. The set was modeled, textured and lit by Ashley Drag, who also modeled and textured the ball. The music is "The Garden" and "You're in Love, Charlie Brown" by George Winston.

"Tea Time"

Created in partnership with Marissa Sorek

After given an assignment to create a chalk talk, we decided to experiment by moving string along a piece of fabric instead of drawing and redrawing with chalk. The result was a simple story about making tea. I was responsible for the photography, the editing of the photographs in Photoshop, the compiling and rendering in After Effects, and the choice of music. The music is from "Skating" by George Winston.

"Siblings"

Created in partnership with Marissa Sorek

All siblings fight, but what happens when those two siblings are clay slug-like creatures? See all the trouble that they can cause and what happens next. I am responsible for the photography, the editing of the photographs in Photoshop, and the compiling and rendering in After Effects. The music and sound effects were created by Marissa Sorek.

"Opacity"

My first motion graphics piece. The purpose of the project was to inform the viewer about the meaning of opacity. I created and rendered the entire project in After Effects.
